Well, Christmas is approaching and I'm ready as I'll ever be.
Getting it all together on you own is no easy task.
All the decision making, deciding what to buy, shopping for presents, organising the house, attending concerts and school class breakfasts is quite a juggle on top of daily life.
Life can be hard. I could say it sucks to do it on my own. I could say it is not fair. I could also add in a lot of swear words;)
However, where would that get me?
A friend beautifully posted on my facebook page this week:
"Despite tremendous heartache you are equally blessed"
and she is right.
I am lucky to have two amazing (even if at times slightly annoying) boys, a job I enjoy, my health and loving family and friends.
That is a lot to be grateful for - so as I prepare to step forward into another year, wish me luck.
