Nothing beats a real Christmas tree - apart from cutting down your own tree from a mountain side!
I am a big Christmas person and the whole while plastic christmas tree that my boys loved last year just didn't make the grade. It has now been re-homed in Tim's room.
This year we took my mum and Auntie with us, but they sensibly waited in the barn while we went out on our hunt for the perfect tree.
A very wise decision as it was a snow strom out there!!
I believe a picture says a thousand words, so here is my essay on finding the perfect tree this year.....
FYI - What was I thinking giving the 5 year old a saw to carry?? :0
