New Years Eve!

Yes - I know it is nearly the middle of January, but life id busy around here;)

New Year Eve 2014, was back to business as normal.

That means, rocking up at I and G's place for a sleep over.

We go over early so Tae can go julebuk with M and T. That is the cross between halloween and carol singing.

Then the boys organise the fireworks while the ladies pop open the champers.

We eat good food, laugh lots, send off an insane amount of fireworks (read those with the male gene) and drink lots of bubles (that would be me and I;)

Then we all crash into bed between 4 - 6am.

In true tradition since Tae does not like fireworks he heads to bed before 11pm and snoozes through until morning:))

Christmas Day Walk

Before the snow arrived on Christmas day we wrapped up warm and headed out for a walk around the top of the mountain.

It is a nice 2 km circuit path, that gives enough fresh air in a short burst.

The views from there are also stunning.

Tae spent lots of time picking up and carrying ice / snow and Tim threw stones onto the frozen water.

They both including cousin I enjoyed breaking off the icicles.

We then headed down through the woodland area, because the pathway down was seriously slippery ice!!

I'm also impressed with the quality of photos on my new iPhone 6 - although the last picture was taken by Tim on his new iPhone using the scanner mode (which I dont know how to do yet:0

Christmas Eve - Present Time!!

1 Farmor
1 Son
2 Daughter in laws
4 Grandchildren

This equals a lot of gifts, noise, smiles and a little chaos!!

The present opening began and everyone was very happy with all that was opened (I think;)

So here is a photo run down of how it went down.......

"Seriously mum - you didn't....."

I totally did - FYI - if you want to make a teenager boy speechless give him an iPhone 6 -  he could not stop smiling.

R, did a great job of recording an overview of the chaos that was going on.
